Award season is underway in the locum tenens world. Independent research firm ClearlyRated on Feb. 6 announced the “Best of Staffing” award-winning locums agencies that were recognized for outstanding service to their healthcare providers and clients in 2023.
Locumpedia estimates that of the more than 120 physician staffing firms that primarily staff locum tenens providers, only 17 firms received “Best of Staffing” honors — or about 14% of all eligible agencies. In a world of participation trophies aplenty, this means the winning agencies truly stood out. While not every agency participates in the “Best of Staffing” survey, the award threshold is relatively modest. Winners merely need to meet the following criteria:
- Receive a 19.5% response rate and a minimum of 15 survey responses
- Earn a customer satisfaction Net Promoter® Score of 50% or higher
- Surveys must have been taken by verifiable clients and providers
