4577S – Short Christmas Coverage Needed in Beautiful Montana! NP/PA Emergency Locum – Make $2340/Holiday

We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide locum coverage during the holidays at a rural critical access hospital in central Montana. This role involves serving as the sole provider, covering the emergency department, inpatient rounds, and long-term care, with occasional clinic responsibilities.

The position is ideal for a provider with strong emergency room experience who can work independently in a high-acuity setting. This is a unique opportunity to support a busy facility during the holidays while experiencing the rural beauty of Montana.

DATES:  
12/24 at 8am thru 12/26 at 8am

PAY:  $97/hr for Direct Care (Call Back) and $65/hr for On-Call

• Schedule starts 0800 and ends 0800
• Emergency room coverage with inpatient rounding
• Housing and travel included!
• Malpractice insurance included.
• This is a 1099 position.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Minimum 2 years of rural emergency experience and hospital acute care experience as an NP or PA required. 
• Experience working in a remote Critical Access Hospital preferred.
• Must be comfortable working solo or minimal support staff.
• Passion for remote healthcare!

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Montana NP or PA license required.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, ATLS and active DEA required.
