Physician – Hematology Oncology (HemOnc) Locum Tenens
Job Description
Work Dates Needed: Starting as soon as credentialed
Preferred Schedule: Must agree to a long-term 1 yr commitment | Will work 3 days/week (8a-4:30p) | Site is flexible as to which days of the week (M-F) | No Call
Worksite Setting: Hospital | Outpatient only
Scope of Work:
Must agree to a long-term 1 yr commitment *Will not accept candidates offering less as this is a one doc shop
Patient Mix:
Typical Heme Oncology
Not responsible for Non-Heme ONC infusions
Workload/Expectations: 15 patients/day
Support staff: 1 FT APP in additional to Locum physician
100% adult cases
Typical community based hem onc practice mix
Procedure: Bone marrow biopsies *If provider desires
Minimum of 12 shifts per month
25 beds
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active PA license | Active DEA w/PA address | Board Certified in Medical Ongology | BLS | Flu vaccine*within the past 12 months | Current CV | Disclose any malpractice claims or disciplinary actions *NPBD required
EMR: Aria (Varian product)
Travel Notes: Prefer someone within driving distance, client does not want to pay for weekly flights
