Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Locum Tenens
Job Description
- Work Dates Needed: 5/1/2025 – ongoing
- In need of full-time OB clinic and call coverage beginning May 1. Low volume facility with 165 births in 2024. Call is not in house but the physician is responsible for backing up the midwives.
- Please note for any new locum to our system, the first day of coverage would be backed up by a day to accomplish orientation.
- Worksite Setting: Hospital
- Scope of Work: FT OB clinic and call must be back up to midwives as well. 165 births in 2024; 15 minute response time; 1-3 patients seen with 1-2 admissions.
- Required skills, low risk pregnancy, FHR Interpretation, Ultrasounds, Level 1 screening, routine delivery, vaginal, low forceps, decision making for C-section, complicated delivery, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, surgical gynecology, Laproscopic diagnostic tubal ligation, operative major ectopic pregnancy.
- 250+ cases per year
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: WI license or IMLC, BLS, level 4 trauma, 2 NP/PAs, provider will be required to supervise APP providers,
- EMR: Cerner
