Obstetrician / Gynecologist (OBG) – Locum Tenens

Job Description

Cross Country Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Obstetrical Gynecologic Physician to help with an ongoing coverage need in MI.

• Dates: Beginning in Jan 2025, ongoing
  
• Worksite Setting: Hospital – Pager call
• Scope of Work:  Low risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, decision making for c-section), Complicated delivery (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions,  Surgical gynecology (open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only – tubal ligation, LOAs, Chronal tubation, operative/major (includes diagnostic) ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs); 1 patient per shift on average.  3 bed department.  30 minute beeper response time.  
• Annual Deliveries: 90 births. 1 patient per shift on average.
• Dept size: 3 beds.  30-minute beeper response time.  
  
• Requirements: Active MI License/DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Travel, Lodging, and A++ Malpractice Insurance Provided
