Job Description
A New Mexico hospital is looking for a locum tenens anesthesiologist to fill a gap in coverage. Your responsibilities will consist mostly of supervision, and the hospital uses both CRNAs and CAAs. The CRNAs are supervised but very autonomous, while CAAs are medical directed in a 1:4 or 1:3 ratio. The schedule is a shift-based model with 8-hour shifts, and you will see a variety of cases, but no sick peds or hearts.
