Neurology (NEURO) Physician – Locum Tenens

• Work Dates Needed: Immediate openings -Jul 31, 2025
• Preferred Schedule: 
  • Mon-Fri (8a-5p)
  •  FT coverage or 2 weeks per month for 6 months
• Worksite Setting:  Clinic Only
• Scope of Work:
  • Locums will cover 2 clinics; Covering 1 day at a time – No back & forth between clinic sites in the same day
  • Locums will need to be able to do either FT coverage, or at least 2 weeks per month for 6 months for continuity of patient care
  • Must be proficient with Cerner (computer)
  • Must be able to do EMG’s and general neurology
  • Fellowship training *preferred
  • Clinics usually have 2-3 locums present depending upon the week
  • 2 NP’s and 1 MD onsite
  • 2nd neurology location nearby with 2 MD’s and 1 NP to help with support, when needed
  • One medical assistant to provider – This MA is solely dedicated to locums providers
  • Schedule is:
    • 8a-8:30 and 4p-5p is time for paperwork
    • New patients are 60 mins
    • Follow up’s are 30-60 mins depending upon diagnosis and plan of care
  • Avg # of patients locums see daily is 7-8/day, but could increase to 13 if all the provider saw was 30 min patients…this is unlikely
  • EMG days – Avg # of patients is 7
  • No trauma
• EMR:  Cerner
• $3,000 Bonus !!!
