Moonlighting ICU MD/DO Opportunity in the Philadelphia area! | Medicine or Surgery Trained

Job Description

Opportunity Details:

‘- Shift: 7p- 7a (needs are Sunday- Thursday)
– Manage PRN issues for Medical ICU patients (CCU patients and overflow ICU/stepdown patients on 3T – not surgical ICU patients).
– Usual volume is 4-12 patients
– ICU admissions–typical 0 to 2 per shift
– Receive handoff from residents at start of shift and give sign-out at end of shift
– Also covers floor phone/PRN issues on 5L patients
– Ability to do central lines (internal jugular vein approach) and arterial lines (radial artery approach) is a benefit, but not required.
– Basic ventilator management. In-house Respiratory Therapy.
– In-house Anesthesia. No intubations.

Requirements:

‘- Must be physician (no APPs in ICU)
– Must have unrestricted license, DEA, ACLS
– Can be Medicine or surgery trained or subspecialties (Gastro, Neuro, Plastics, rheumatology, etc). No Family Medicine
