Key Job Details:
- Assignments Dates: May 9th – June 9th, 2025
- Schedule:
- Clinic: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- On-Call: Every day while on assignment
- Compensation Breakdown:
- $755.00 daily rate (earned every day on assignment)
- $65.52 per diem rate (earned every day on assignment)
- 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure) paid at the daily rate
- This is a solo-provider assignment but there may be a Health Aide available for support
Responsibilities:
- Patient volume, clinic: Averages 10 patients per day
- Patient volume, emergencies: Averages 1-2 per week
- On-Call Details: Call volumes are typically very light
Position Requirements:
- Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
- Active BLS & ACLS
- ATLS & PALS preferred, but not required
- Active DEA registration
- Significant primary care & emergency experience required; pediatric experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of solo full-spectrum emergency experience
- Direct experience with medevac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
- Alaska bush experience highly preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
