Locum Tenens ObGyn-Hospitalist/Laborist Opportunity – Wise, VA
Job Description
VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity open to Physicians near Wise, Virginia.
– .MFM onsite: Not onsite, 24/7 by consult
– In-house Anesthesia: On call nights and weekends
– Residency Program & Type? Yes –OBGYN and Family Medicine
– OB/GYN Physicians
– Full Scope Generalist for both inpatient and outpatient services
– Block scheduling of 5, 24 hr. shifts with intended schedule of 5 on/10 off
– Traditional On Call evenings and weekends (stay) within 20 min of hospital
– Clinic coverage M-F
– Supervision of Nurse Practitioners
– Travel expenses covered
– REQUIREMENTS: 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
– 25-50 GYN visits annually
– No record of discipline by any medical organization
– Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
– Clinical Interview Not required
