Job Description

VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity open to Physicians in Anchorage, Alaska.

– MFM onsite: Yes

– Residency Program and Type? No

– In-house Anesthesia? Yes

– 24 hour shifts

– Hospitalists to provide GYN coverage: No

– Hospitalists required to perform circumcisions: No

– Hospitalists needed for first assist: No-usually provided by midwives, residents or groups

– First assist available to Hospitalists: Yes-FP residents

– Hospitalists to backup midwives: Yes

– Hospitalists to backup family practice: Yes

– Backup available to hospitalists-Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)

REQUIREMENTS: 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years

– 25-50 GYN visits annually

– No record of discipline by any medical organization

– Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

– Clinical Interview Not required
