Job Description

Medstaff has a new Locum Tenens opportunity for an OB/GYN Board Certified Physician near Charlotte, NC.

Start Date: June 1, 2024 – August 31, 2024
Length: 3 months
Hours: Clinic M-F 8 am – 5 pm, Rotated Call 7:30 am – 7:30 am
Up to 7 calls/month, post-call day off

Details:

  • Average patients per day: 24 – 28 during a full office day
  • 836 deliveries in 2023 (monthly range 56-90)
  • Working with 2 other OB Hospitalists, 2 full-time OBGYN’s, 1 GYN only, 1 CNM, 1NP, 1 shared surgical PA.
  • Clinical support of 1-1.5 MAs per provider in the clinic
  • New grads accepted
  • Procedures include: Vaginal delivery, operative vaginal delivery, cesarean section, vaginal laceration repair, cesarean hysterectomy, D&E, D&C, diagnostic laparoscopy w/wo salpingectomy/oophorectomy, laparoscopic removal of ectopic pregnancy, exam under anesthesia.

Required Credentials: Active North Carolina medical license. Active NC DEA.  Board certified or eligible by ABOG or AOBOG.
Compensation: Medstaff offers a competitive hourly rate, travel, housing, and Medical Malpractice.
