Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Opening near Peoria Illinois
Job Description
Are you a skilled Gastroenterologist seeking a rewarding opportunity in the southern suburbs of Peoria, IL? Look no further! We are assisting our client in finding a board-certified GI physician with an IL license, IL CSR, DEA, and at least 2 years of recent experience to join their team.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with no call and no weekends.
- Patient Population: Mainly adult patients, including geriatrics, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Patient Load: See 15-18 patients per day in the clinic, with surgical volumes varying.
- Procedures: Focus on general GI procedures, including colonoscopy screenings and EGDs. EUS and ERCPs are not required at this location.
- EMR: Experience with EPIC preferred.
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days for hospital privileges.
- Commitment: Initial 4-month commitment, with the possibility of ongoing employment.
