Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Opening in Ohio

Job Description

Medstaff is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician (BC ABEM or AOBEM) for a new Locum Tenens assignment in North Central Ohio.

Length: 6–12 months, must commit to a minimum of 5 shifts per month
Hours: 7 am–6 pm, 10 am–8 pm, 4 pm–2 am

Details:

• Level II Trauma Center
• 41k annual volume
• 32 ED Beds; 16 ICU Beds
• EMR used is Epic
• Daily Staffing model – 36 hours of physician coverage and 27.5 hours of NP/PA coverage
• Specialty services include peds, psych, neuro surgery, OB, ENT, trauma

Required Credentials: Active Ohio medical license, DEA, proof of ATLS obtained once. Provider must show evidence of 2000 hours of ED work in the past 24 months. Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or request an exemption form.
