Internal Medicine (IM) Locum Tenens
Job Description
- Work Dates Needed: Jan. 6th or as soon as credentialed. Initial assignment for 3 months with option to extend 3-6 months
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch break. No overtime, weekends, holidays or on-call duty. No alternate schedule accepted.
- Worksite Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital
- Scope of Work: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Provider needed. Ability to provide cross coverage, to include forensic populations. Once a month, participate in Lunch Coverage Call (12pm – 1pm). Responsible for patient care that includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical illnesses for adult and geriatric psych inpatient population.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Virginia Medical License, Virginia Federal DEA, BLS, 3 or more years experience, Strong experience working with patients having Serious Mental Illness.
- EMR: Cerner Millennium
