Job Description
- Work Dates Needed: January 1, 2025 – November 30, 2025. Long term potential.
- Preferred Schedule: 8a-8p; 8p-8a; 10a-10p. A fast track is staffed with midlevel providers 8a-10p
- Worksite Setting: ER
- Scope of Work: Looking for BE/BC IM physicians with EM experience who are flexible and can work 6 or more shifts per month. Will consider providers who prefer nights and/or those that don’t have strong preferences for days or night shifts. On-site CT, X-ray, lab. Limited Ultrasound 7:30-4 on weekdays. Nice Sonosite PX US located in the ER Dept with curved, phased array and 2 linear probes (one is 19mhz). Small inpatient wing managed by dedicated, in-house hospitalist. On-call specialists include: Hospitalist, Podiatry, Optometry, Anesthesia, Pediatrics. Intermittent on-call specialties include: Gen Surg (weekdays and some weekends), Gyn, OMFS. Patients will receive discharge medications from the comprehensive formulary 24/7. Average Annual Volume- 21K. Average daily volume is under 2 patients per hour but especially at night it will be frontloaded.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Federal security clearance required, Any state, unrestricted Medical License, ABEM, DEA, PALS, ATLS ACLS, BLS
- EMR: RPMS (same as the VA for many years). Dragon medical voice recognition available as well.
- Lodging & Travel: Provider is responsible for arranging and paying for his/her own lodging & travel. No onsite housing available, however, there are many hotels in the Lawton area. Smaller airport is located in Lawton with limited passenger service. Only 1:10p from OKC airport or 2:45p from DFW.
