Locums Rheumatology – Brooklyn Area NYC

Job Description

– Locums opportunity, contract can be 6 months to a year if desired
– Flexible with availability, 1 week up to FTE will be considered
– M-F, Daytime coverage: 8a-5p,
– 10-12 inpatient consults/daily,
– 15+- clinic encounters per day for M-F afternoon only
– S-S 8a-5p, consults only maybe 10, 2 weekends per mo.
– Academic in nature as there is a Fellowship program onsite
– Fellows run the consults
– Fellows take call on weekends but if call is part of the role, there will be a call rate for the weekend
– Clinic patients are seen by fellows and the attending has to precept the patient
– Main need is during the week but open to weekend
– Negotiable hourly rate with travel, lodging and Malpractice covered
