Hospital Medicine HM, MD&DO-Locum Tenens
Job Description
- Work Dates Needed: Immediate Coverage Needed | Ongoing through June 2025 | Possibility of extension
- Preferred Schedule: Nights (7p-7a) | 12hr shifts | 7 on / 7 off rotation | No call
- Worksite Setting: Hospital | Inpatient | Adult
- Scope of Work: Crossover Coverage
- Respond to nursing calls and needs of patients
- Prep patients and complete paperwork for next day discharges
- Review opportunities to downgrade patient and clean up orders (i.e. remove daily labs when not indicated)
- Utilize sign out tool for transitions of care
- Support for cancer, transplant, stroke, and other general levels of care;
- No supervising
- Not required to respond to code or be back up ED/trauma
- 100% adult hospital setting
- 15-18 pts per provider/shift
- All documentation must be completed by end of shift
- Separate Rapid & Response & Code Team
- No ICU level care
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: AZ license | AZ DEA | IMLC compact | Board certified | BLS certification | ACLS certification | Current CV | 3 references
- EMR: Cerner | Medaptus
- Pay Rate Preferred: $170/hr. | Holiday 1.5x
