Job Description
- Work Dates Needed: Ongoing – 2024-2025 | Starting as soon as credentialed
- Preferred Schedule: Flexible Schedule | 24hr call – 5-7 days
- Worksite Setting: Hospital | Inpatient | Adult
- Scope of Work: Colonoscopy with & without biopsy | Liver biopsy | Insertion/management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tube | Sigmoidoscopy, both flexible & rigid | Upper GI endoscopy with & without ERCP| Competency in ERCP | Advanced (EUS/ERCP represent about 10% of the daily demand | Locums will work solo/independently with 24/7 hospitalist support | Adult hospital patients | Locums would cover 5-7 days with 24/7 support | Avg patients per physician daily – 10-15 | Locums do not respond to in-house calls | Locums are not required to supervise other healthcare providers; Solo work | Locums are not expected to back up the ED or trauma |
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active AZ License | Active AZ DEA | Board certified | BLS | ACLS | Current CV | 3 references | Experience is preferred | Competency in ERCP | Fellowship preferred, but not required |
