Job Description

Good afternoon, 

We have a new Emergency Medicine need in the central part of North Carolina. 

Here are the details. 

  • Work Dates Needed: ASAP – ongoing; 10-15 shifts per month; 6+ months
  • Preferred Schedule: 6a-6p;6p-6a; days, nights, weekends and holidays needed
  • Worksite Setting: Hospital; 27,821 annual volume; average 76 PPD; 2 PPH; no trauma center designation
  • Scope of Work: Emergency Medicine; 20 ED Bed Count
  • Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: BC/BE; EM, FM, IM, ACLS, PALS
  • EMR: Cerner; no scribe coverage

Additional Details an Emergency Medicine Physician will want to know about a position: 

  • Residency’s Accepted: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine
  • What is the APC coverage? 24 APC hours per day
  • What is the % of Admitted Patients? 10%
  • Client is willing to pay for travel expenses
  • Admitting Orders: bridge only; 24hr in house hospitalists
  • Covid vaccine/exemption is required

 Other Details to consider:   Temp privileges can be issued with clean files and an active license
