Cardiovascular ICU APP Opportunity in St. Louis, MO – 7 On/ 7 Off
Job Description
Medicus has partnered with a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, with an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in the cardiovascular intensive care unit.
Opening Details:
- Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 12-13 hour shifts
- Call shifts required
- Cases Seen: Patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, ICU patients, post cardiac surgery – CABG, structural heart, aortic dissections, no transplants
- Procedures Required: Central line/arterial lines/chest tubes, rare intubation, rare thoracentesis
- Patient Ages: Adult, 18+
- Patients per Day: 10-14
- Support Staff: Intesivist, cardiac surgeon on call
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
