Job Description

Medicus has partnered with an established hospital in central North Dakota that has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: 8a-5p, 7 on/7 off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
  • Call Requirement: 5p-8a 1-2x per week, 24-hour call 1 weekend per month
  • Patient Volume: 12 per day
  • Patient Ages: Adult
  • Admissions: 0-3 per day
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Cases: Behavioral health (suicidal ideation, active aggression, etc.)
  • Support Staff: RN, mental health techs, OTs, OT assistant, social worker, adolescent psychiatrist, manager, director
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • Paid travel & expenses
