Psychologist (Psych) Locum Tenens – California

• Work Dates Needed: Tentative start date 3/15/2025 – 9/30/2025

• Worksite Setting: Air Force Base in California
• Scope of Work: Attend and participate in meetings during normal duty hours and professional staff conferences and other appropriate professional activities. Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health Psychology. Clinical/Counseling Psychology: Responsible for and applies psychological procedures and techniques, including interviewing, behavioral assessments, evidence-based therapies, and psychological testing/psych diagnostic testing, in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders. Individual, family and group psychotherapy, and couples therapy, alcohol and drug treatment evaluations. Consults with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders and school districts, as required. Maintain accurate and current notes in both the Mental Health records and inpatient medical records of all patients seen, as appropriate, and produces reports of evaluation and/or treatment, as required. Participates in military specific training (e.g., training to perform Command Directed Evaluations, security clearances, Military Training Instructors clearances, pre-post deployment screening, PTSD, and combat stress). Expected to see 5 to 8 patients per day. Possible telework at the Flt/CC discretion.
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: PhD or PsD in clinical or counseling psychology.  Any state license.  Experience in brief interventions.  BLS.

• Pay Rate Preferred: $95/hr (for local, needing no expenses), or $80.00/Hr pay, plus a $120 per WORKED day travel stipend
