Job Description
4718SG We currently have a need for a locum physician assistant or nurse practitioner in Southwest Alaska for vacation coverage. The provider will be responsible for primary and emergency care of patients in a small, rural community. This assignment may be a solo provider location with medical assistants available.
DATES:
Dec 11 – 23, 2024
OVERVIEW:
- Locum Tenens
- Outpatient Clinic + Emergency Call
- Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM
- Call weeknight & weekends
COMPENSATION DETAILS:
- Pay: $830/day, 7 days a week
- Paid day of travel at same daily rate before / after assignment
- 1099 contractor position
- Medical malpractice insurance provided
- Housing and travel expenses included
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner License with State of Alaska
- BLS, ACLS
- ATLS Preferred
- Active DEA Registration
- Two (2) years of experience in emergency medicine
