Critical Care Nurse Practitioner needed for Locum Tenens

Job Description

• Critical Care Nurse Practitioner needed for Locum tenens in Arizona
• Work Dates Needed: Nov – Ongoing
• Preferred Schedule: 12hr shifts 
• Worksite Setting: Inpatient
• Scope of Work: 
  • Trauma 4
  • 15 patients per shift
  • 15 beds in dept
  • Support Staff: 6-7 RNs, 1 APP
  • CABGs
  • ICU patients pre and post op from CT surgeries 
  • Must be proficient with CVICU procedures:
    • vent management 
    • placing lines
    • inserting/removing chest tubes
    • intra-aortic balloon pumps
    • pulling pacer wires
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active AZ license, Covid vax required, ACLS I BLS I DEA 
• EMR: Cerner
