Locum Tenens Full or Part Time APP Opening in Iowa
Job Description
Medstaff is assisting with full or part time Primary Care NP/PA coverage for a correctional facility located northeast of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Here are the details:
- Looking for a nationally certified NP or PA with an Iowa license, DEA, clean background and at least one year of experience
- Outpatient coverage for medium security, male inmate population
- M-F, 8-hour days, will consider 3-5 days per week
- Duties will include, physicals, collect historical health, developmental and psychosocial data, interpret, perform or assist in routing lab and related studies
- In addition, recommend patient care resources and work with nursing staff to determine diagnostic or therapeutic procedures
- Will be a 4-month commitment with possibility for extension
