Job Description

Medstaff is assisting with Anesthesiology coverage for a client in Urbana, IL.
Here are the details:

  • Must be Board Certified in Anesthesia with an IL License or proof of IMLC and an AHA BLS
  • M-F, 7am-3pm, at least one week per month
  • About 15 cases per day
  • Adult and geriatric patients. No trauma, no open heart or major vascular cases
  • Duties will include a mix of surgeries, supervising CRNA’s, rounding, consults, follow ups
  • Main OR coverage, no cardiac
  • Must be proficient in standard procedures for an Anesthesiologist, to include nerve blocks and epidurals
  • EMR is EPIC
  • Requires proof of COVID vaccination and clean background to be able to expedite credentialing
  • Start date is based on credentialing, minimal 3-month commitment, can be ongoing
