VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity open to Physicians in San Antonio, Texas.

– MFM onsite: Yes

– Residency: No

– In House Anesthesia: es

– Collaborative environment with MFM, NEOs, and Obstetricians

– Opportunity to provide an impact on safe practices: simulation drills, establishment of OB/ED and protocols

– Shift Length: 24 hours

– Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes

– Hospitalists required to Perform Circumcisions: No

– Hospitalists needed for first assist: No-usually provided by midwives, residents or group

– First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: No

– Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes

– Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No

– REQUIREMENTS: 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years

– 25-50 GYN visits annually

– No record of discipline by any medical organization

– Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

– Clinical Interview Not required
