Job Description

VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity open to Physicians near Richmond, Virginia, about an hour away.

– MFM onsite? Yes 

– Residency Program & Type? No

– In-house Anesthesia? Yes

– Is COVID Vaccine required? YES

– Board eligible and/or board certified welcome?: YES

– 24 Hour Shifts

– Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: No 

– Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: Yes 

– Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: No, usually provided by midwives, residents or group 

– First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes-FP Residents 

– Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes 

– Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: Yes 

– Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OBGYN ED Call)

– REQUIREMENTS: 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years

– 25-50 GYN visits annually 

– No record of discipline by any medical organization

– Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

– Will consider Licensure Candidates 

– Clinical Interview Not required 

– Will need malp documentation at time of presentation
