Job Description

Medicus has partnered with a leading hospital in east-central Wisconsin with an opening for a Gastroenterologist to assist their team, providing comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and GI lab services.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Schedule:
    • Clinic: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p, seeing 12-16 patients per day
    • GI Lab: Procedure days scheduled from 8p-4p
    • On-Call: Monday 7a – Monday 7a (GI consults, emergency cases, and support a hospital PA for inpatient consults)
  • Procedures: Expected to perform up to 14 procedures per shift, depending on case load and complexity (includes colonoscopies, EGDs & ERCP)
  • Beds: 125-bed facility
  • Current GI Staff: 3 full-time
  • Anesthesia: Available on-call 24/7
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Must be board-certified
